Age Restriction & Verification
Sikar Dating is strictly intended for adults aged 18 years and above. We enforce this through multiple layers:
- Mandatory Date of Birth: Every user must provide their date of birth during registration. Users under 18 are automatically rejected and cannot create an account.
- Phone Number Verification: All accounts require OTP-based phone number verification, ensuring accountability and traceability. Only phone numbers registered to individuals aged 18+ are permitted.
- Profile Review: Profiles that appear to belong to minors (based on photos, bio content, or reported behavior) are reviewed and removed promptly.
- Ongoing Monitoring: We continuously monitor the platform for accounts that may misrepresent their age.
Prohibited Content & Conduct
The following content and conduct are strictly prohibited on Sikar Dating and will result in immediate account termination and reporting to authorities:
Absolutely Prohibited
- Any sexual content involving minors, including images, videos, text, illustrations, or AI-generated content (CSAM)
- Solicitation, grooming, or enticement of minors for sexual purposes
- Sharing, distributing, or requesting child sexual abuse material
- Any attempt to contact, meet, or arrange meetings with minors for sexual exploitation
- Sexualization of minors in any form, including in profile descriptions, messages, or shared media
- Sextortion or coercion targeting minors
- Human trafficking of any kind, particularly involving minors
- Any content that normalizes, promotes, or glorifies sexual abuse of children
Detection & Prevention Measures
Sikar Dating employs the following measures to proactively detect and prevent CSAE:
1. Technical Safeguards
- Age Gate Enforcement: Automated system-level blocks prevent users under 18 from registering.
- Content Moderation: Photos and profile content are reviewed for inappropriate or violating material.
- Keyword & Pattern Detection: Automated systems scan messages and profiles for keywords, phrases, and patterns commonly associated with CSAE and grooming behavior.
- Image Screening: Uploaded images are screened to detect and prevent the distribution of known CSAM.
2. User Safety Tools
- Block Feature: Users can instantly block any person, preventing all further contact and visibility.
- Report Feature: Easy-to-access reporting mechanism for users to flag suspicious accounts, inappropriate content, or concerning behavior.
- Blocklist Management: Users have full control over their blocklist and privacy settings.
3. Human Review
- All reports related to potential CSAE are given highest priority and reviewed within 24 hours.
- Dedicated safety team trained in identifying CSAE indicators and grooming patterns.
- Escalation procedures for confirmed violations to law enforcement within 24 hours.
Reporting & Response Procedures
How to Report
If you encounter any content or behavior on Sikar Dating that you believe involves the exploitation of a minor, please report it immediately through any of the following channels:
- In-App Reporting: Tap the report button on any user profile or within a chat conversation.
- Email: Send a detailed report to safety@sikardating.app
- Support Page: Contact us through the Support section in the app.
Our Response Process
- Immediate Action: The reported account is suspended immediately pending investigation.
- Investigation: Our safety team reviews the reported content, account history, and all associated data.
- Law Enforcement Notification: Confirmed violations are reported to NCMEC (via CyberTipline), Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C), and local law enforcement authorities within 24 hours.
- Evidence Preservation: All relevant data and evidence is preserved and provided to law enforcement as required by applicable law.
- Permanent Ban: Confirmed violators are permanently banned from the platform with no option for appeal.
- Victim Support: If a victim is identified, we cooperate fully with authorities and support organizations to ensure their safety.
Data Retention for Safety
In compliance with legal requirements and to support law enforcement investigations:
- Evidence related to CSAE reports is retained and preserved as required by applicable law.
- Account data of banned users is retained for a minimum period as mandated by law to prevent re-registration and support ongoing investigations.
- We comply with all lawful requests from law enforcement for data related to CSAE investigations.
Cooperation with Authorities
Sikar Dating cooperates fully with law enforcement agencies and child protection organizations:
- NCMEC: We report identified CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) via the CyberTipline as required by U.S. law.
- Indian Authorities: We report to the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C) and cooperate with local police authorities in India.
- POCSO Act Compliance: We comply with the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012 of India.
- IT Act Compliance: We comply with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the IT (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.
- International Cooperation: We respond to valid legal requests from international law enforcement agencies investigating CSAE.
Internal Standards & Training
- All team members and contractors with access to user data are trained on CSAE identification, prevention, and reporting procedures.
- Background checks are conducted for personnel with access to sensitive user data or content moderation responsibilities.
- Regular refresher training is conducted to keep the team updated on emerging threats, grooming tactics, and best practices.
- Clear internal escalation procedures ensure that any CSAE concern raised by a team member is acted upon immediately.

This safety standards document is reviewed and updated regularly to reflect:
- Changes in applicable laws and regulations
- New platform features and their safety implications
- Evolving threats and tactics used by bad actors
- Industry best practices and recommendations from child safety organizations
