Delete Your Account

Step-by-step guide to permanently delete your Sikar Dating account and all associated data.

Account deletion is simple and can be done directly from the app. Follow the steps below to permanently remove your account.

Open the App

Launch the Sikar Dating app on your Android device and make sure you are logged in to the account you want to delete.

Go to Your Profile

Tap the Profile tab (person icon) on the bottom navigation bar to open your profile page.

Scroll to the Bottom

Scroll down to the very bottom of the profile page. You will see two buttons: "Logout" and "Delete Account" (displayed in red text).

Tap "Delete Account"

Tap the red Delete Account button. A confirmation dialog will appear with the message: "Are you sure you want to delete your account? This action cannot be undone."

Confirm Deletion

Tap "Delete" in the confirmation dialog to proceed. Your account and all associated data will be permanently removed from our servers.

Done — Account Deleted

You will be automatically signed out and redirected to the welcome screen. Your account is now fully deleted. You may create a new account anytime using the same or a different phone number.

⚠️ Important — This Action Is Permanent

Once you delete your account, the following data will be permanently removed and cannot be recovered:

Tip: If you just need a break, consider logging out instead. Your account and data will be preserved for when you return.

📧 Alternative: Request Deletion via Email

If you are unable to access the app or cannot log in, you can request account deletion by email:

  1. Send an email to support@sikardating.app
  2. Use the subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
  3. Include the phone number registered with your account
  4. Our team will verify your identity and delete your account within 48 hours

📋 Data Retention Policy

After account deletion, your personal data is permanently erased from our active databases. Some anonymized, non-identifiable data may be retained for analytics purposes. Data required by law (e.g., for safety reporting) may be retained as mandated by applicable regulations. For more details, see our Privacy Policy.
